Elissa’s grandpa always swore that “Safer” (Elissa’s maiden name) meant “horse thief”, and that Elissa came from a long line of horse thieves. However, Elissa has yet to steal a horse. In her day job (as a franchise and business lawyer), Elissa has helped hundreds of people start their own businesses. Outside of work, Elissa swam with sharks in the South Pacific, hiked from border to border in Israel, backpacked through mainland China and is always up for a new adventure. In recent years, Elissa’s adventures have taken a quieter and more harrowing turn- Elissa has become a mom and has also turned her journey inward. Elissa has become an enthusiastic meditator and an aficionado of anything that has “personal growth” in the title.
